1) When Miguel O'Hara and his brother Gabe went to the Dia de Los Muertos festival in Mexico, he bought a costume made of Unstable Molecules Fabric to avoid any wear and tear during the festivities. Little did he realize he'd end up living in the thing. The costume was not only durable enough to deal with his super-heroics, it also allowed him to use his talons through the suit without tearing it to shreds. Although rendered in blue by Marvel's coloring treatment, Spider-Man 2099's costume is frequently described as a black bodysuit. The red death's head symbol on his chest connects to a thin red line down each arm, ending on the back of each hand. Another elaborate red design silhouettes his eyes on the mask. When he became Spider-Man, Miguel added a patch of Light Byte cloth to the back of the costume. Designed for aero-sailing, the cloth acts like a glider to catch air currents and let him soar between buildings.
