Their primary mandate was to corrall and supervise the remaining mutant population in America, establishing a "reservation" at the Xavier Mansion with the help of their Sentinel Squad. After the death of their commander in Civil War and the disappearance of active field agents in Messiah CompleX, the O*N*E has apparently ceased activity in mutant relations.
